Google Maps Hi team! You should find everything you need to know, about gaining accurate coordinates in this next tutorial. I will link all the tools in the description below and I'll see you on the next one. We're going to run through a really quick and easy way that we can gain accurate coordinates. We can type Google Maps into our browser, open it up and it should look something like this. We're able to switch between a few different views. This is Map view and we're able to look at the Satelite picture as well. If it looks like your pin might not be in the correct place; it might be on the road, it might be on the sidewalk. As you can see here, it's in the middle of the driveway. What we can do is, we can pick up the little yellow man, in the right hand corner and drop him on a marked, blue line. This will enter Street view. From here, we're able to look around. We can look at; address numbers on letter boxes and signage. So, using Visy as our example, we can see here that we are in the right place. Exit 'Street view' Now we've confirmed that this is our site. You can right click in the middle of wherever you would like your licence. If you would like your licence to be on this building over here, for example, we can right click in the centre of it and select What's here? Down the bottom, in the middle of our screen, our coordinates should appear. ACMA requires coordinates to have a 10 metre accuracy. To ensure you are operating within your licence conditions, please make sure that we provide accurate location information.
Thanks so much and I'll see you on the next one, Team!
